About The Position
Position Overview: Provides assistance to Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Occupational Therapy Assistants on inpatient transfers and gait; cleaning outpatient department including linen changes and supply organization; provides appropriate assistance without outpatient treatments; and orientation of new aides. When given specific and additional training, provides assistance to Occupational Therapist with inpatient treatments under supervision for activities of daily living and therapeutic activities. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Nice To Haves
- One (1) or more years of physical therapy aide experience
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Word processing software.
Responsibilities
- Provides assistance to Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Occupational Therapy Assistants on inpatient transfers and gait
- Cleaning outpatient department including linen changes and supply organization
- Provides appropriate assistance without outpatient treatments
