About The Position

To provide support to the rehabilitation service through both patient related and non patient related duties.

Requirements

• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED
• Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Capable of speaking and writing in English.

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
• Prior related experience

Responsibilities

• Department competency
• The aide is competent in providing patient care as directed by the supervising therapist within the context of the clinical environment and training received.
• The aide's verbal/written communication is timely, complete and accurate, follows Sharp HealthCare guidelines. Documentation is co signed by the supervising therapist.
• The aide is cooperative and courteous to the customers and demonstrates appropriate awareness of age and cultural needs as part of Sharp HealthCare's commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Department support
• The aide maintains the department and treatment areas in safe, clean and orderly fashion.
• The aide effectively completes clinical support duties as assigned.
• Professional development
• The aide identifies own needs for skills training and practice opportunities and demonstrates initiative in taking classes or attending programs related to work area.
• Teamwork
• The aide promotes constructive working relationships and works effectively as a part of the team to facilitate its ability to meet its goals and objectives.
• The aide performs duties as necessary for efficient departmental functioning.
