About The Position

Overview The Rehab Admissions Liaison Increases consumer/physician/referral source demand for inpatient rehabilitation services. Assists in the development & implementation of the marketing plan. Provides pre-admission assessment of patient candidates for the Rehabilitation Care Unit, including the determination of the discharge plan, and obtaining Medical Director & business office/insurance company approval. Establishes and maintains optimum working relationships with third party payers, case management organizations, physicians, discharge planners and community referral sources. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech pathology. 2. Current GA license in nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech pathology 3. BLS upon hire and maintain current, Health Care Provider (AHA) 4. Requirements
