About The Position

As a Regulatory Quality Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products in the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) business. You will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the quality management system, conducting quality audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in quality engineering will contribute to the overall success of our PPE products and help protect workers worldwide. You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you'll work out of our North Charleston, NC location an onsite work schedule. In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our PPE products, ensuring they meet the highest standards and exceed customer expectations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive process improvements. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures to prevent quality issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or quality assurance
  • 2+ years of experience in quality engineering or a related field
  • Coordinating projects and keep communication with certification bodies
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and standards

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the PPE industry or a similar regulated industry
  • Six Sigma or Lean certification
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
