About The Position

Job Summary: Join Centrus Energy as a Regulatory Program Specialist and help ensure our licensing and regulatory foundation stays accurate, organized, and ready for the future. What You’ll Do: You’ll help keep Centrus Energy’s regulatory engine running smoothly by maintaining controlled licensing documents, supporting configuration management for plant changes, and partnering with regulatory engineers and project teams to ensure compliance stays on track. From preparing application change packages and managing regulatory commitments to tracking actions in web-based systems and maintaining critical databases, you’ll play a key role in organizing, monitoring, and advancing licensing activities. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with detailed information, collaborating across teams, and growing into increasingly complex regulatory responsibilities while helping support safe and compliant nuclear operations.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in a technical or administrative field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Adobe to process records and generate reports, charts, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Working knowledge of project scheduling applications
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire
  • This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test and vetting to ensure Centrus Energy can meet the requirements of 10 CFR Parts 810 and 1017 to grant access to export-controlled information and Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information, respectively
  • Such access is required for the performance of this position
