Regulatory Operations Manager
About The Position
Maleda Tech is seeking two Regulatory Operations Managers to support the launch and scaling of regulated offerings across services and experiences within a global marketplace environment. This role is highly cross-functional and operationally focused, sitting at the intersection of compliance, data, product operations, and stakeholder management. You will help design, execute, and scale regulatory operations programs across multiple geographies and business categories—while ensuring a strong, thoughtful experience for marketplace participants. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in complexity, values precision, and can translate regulatory requirements into scalable operational solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in compliance operations, legal operations, regulatory programs, project/program management, data analytics, or regulated industries
- Proven experience launching, scaling, and analyzing compliance programs
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and dashboarding/BI tools
- Ability to work effectively with large, imperfect datasets
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Clear, confident communicator able to translate regulatory and business needs into actionable solutions
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to AI-enabled tools in compliance, legal, or operations is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and scale operational plans to collect, verify, and maintain regulatory requirements across regions and business lines
- Manage and continuously improve regulatory intake, tracking, and resolution workflows
- Triage and resolve internal and external regulatory inquiries, escalations, and incidents
- Analyze large and imperfect datasets to identify trends, risks, and anomalies
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor compliance performance
- Create one-off analyses and recurring reporting for operational and leadership use
- Build, validate, and QA reporting pipelines and workflows
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, and external stakeholders
- Support the delivery of automated, scalable compliance solutions and technical requirements
- Monitor milestones and deliverables, communicating outcomes and recommendations to leadership
- Serve as a voice for the marketplace participant experience when implementing regulatory and data initiatives
- Ensure regulatory changes are executed thoughtfully and with operational impact in mind
- Uphold ethical standards and quality expectations across all regulatory operations
