Onyx Odds is a fast-growing, venture-backed social sports prediction platform. As user activity has scaled quickly, we’re expanding the team to support product execution and day-to-day operations.
Founded by Harvard graduates with a background at Jane Street, Onyx is headquartered in downtown Manhattan. This role is hybrid.

We’re hiring a Regulatory Operations Associate to drive our push toward federal licensing and regulatory expansion. This is a high-impact role working directly with leadership across legal, product, and operations.

Requirements

• 1–4 years in regulatory, compliance, legal ops, consulting, or finance
• Strong interest in CFTC, derivatives, or prediction markets
• Ability to interpret rules and turn them into execution
• Highly organized and comfortable in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Own and drive CFTC licensing efforts (DCM, FCM, IB as applicable)
• Coordinate across internal teams and external counsel to move licensing forward
• Prepare and manage regulatory filings, submissions, and ongoing requirements
• Translate regulatory frameworks into clear product and operational decisions
• Partner with product, trading, and engineering to ensure compliant design
• Support regulator communication, audits, and inquiries
• Build and improve internal compliance processes and systems
