About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Review criminal history information related to applicants to determine eligibility for licensure, certification, or registration.
  • Work with supervisor and office of general counsel to determine eligibility for licensure, certification, or registration based on applicant’s criminal history pursuant to Rule 5E-14, F.A.C.
  • Ensure accuracy through quality control.
  • Transmit, retrieve, and update information to records in applicable databases.
  • Perform these activities in accordance with established policies and procedures and with designated databases.
  • Relay information to structural pest control licensing team through applicable databases, in writing, and/or verbally.
  • Make recommendations regarding denial or acceptance based on the applicant’s criminal history review.
  • Assist supervisor and/or co-workers as back-up processor for all processes of all applicable licenses.
  • Review and evaluate all documents and verify completion.
  • Communicate in writing or verbally with customers to ensure documents are correct and complete for processing.
  • Generate any necessary deficiency and/or denial letters and distribute accordingly.
  • Track deficiency and/or denial letters to ensure all timelines are in compliance pursuant to Chapter 120, F.S.
  • Answer inquiries from public and applicants regarding certification, licensure, and registrations.
  • Compile data for reports as requested.
  • Send to Supervisor for submission of final report.
  • Perform other duties as required.
