The Senior Advisor is part of the Compliance Testing ('CT') team for the Santander U.S. Compliance Testing Unit (CTU). The CTU is responsible for assessing compliance risks and controls implemented by the business and functional areas. The testing will focus on regulatory requirements, controls and processes related to auto finance and banking products. In this role, you will review policies and procedures and perform independent testing activities (testing and on-going monitoring) to assess the design and effectiveness of key processes and controls designed to address state and federal compliance, escalating control gaps or deficiencies, any violations of law, and non-adherence to enterprise-wide policy, as well as validating adequacy of remediation taken to address identified issues. As a Sr. Advisor you will have an increased level of responsibility to conduct reviews independently, conduct more complex reviews, leading reviews in conjunction with other testers, working cross-functionally, conduct validations, prepare audit or exam requests, or train other less experienced testers.
