About The Position

The Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering the Bank's Compliance Management Program.

Requirements

• Three to five years’ experience in banking with a working knowledge of compliance.
• Undergraduate degree in finance, business, or related field. Additional professional education at a compliance school preferred.
• Ability to travel to Nebraska, Wyoming, and Colorado locations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated strength in decision making, dependability, independence, organization, problem solving, and time management.
• Professional appearance.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe, and Outlook.
• Able to work with and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

• Additional professional education at a compliance school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Compliance Department staff.
• Serve as CRA Officer, and HMDA Officer for all banks, and direct staff accordingly to ensure compliance with these regulations.
• Maintain compliance policy library.
• Review operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide compliance training to associates as needed.
• Answer associate inquiries related to compliance, including review of all bank advertising materials.
• Perform compliance monitoring for various regulations; preparing reports of results; and performing follow-up on violations and exceptions.
• Perform an annual risk assessment of regulatory requirements.
• Chair monthly Compliance Committee meetings.
• Prepare reports for the board of directors and senior management as requested.
• Report, as necessary, to the board of directors and senior management regarding significant activities and developments in the area of regulatory compliance.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
