About The Position
The City of Tacoma is seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Analyst, Senior to join our team. The Regulatory Compliance Analyst, Senior will be part of the Environmental Programs Group and will be responsible for overseeing Tacoma's environmental permitting for Environmental Services' construction, maintenance, and restoration projects. Specific tasks include: WRDA meetings, coordination with agencies, tribes and city staff, and submitting, tracking, and securing state, local and federal permits. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting requirements and excellent interpretation, communication and relationship building skills. This position is within the Environmental Programs Group - specifically the Natural Systems Management Team. Much of the day-to-day work of this position will be permitting activities related to Environmental Services construction and maintenance projects and mission.
