About The Position
This position will be filled as a Regulatory Analyst I in Austin, TX. The Regulatory Analyst provides support for the Regulatory Affairs team and assists in the development and execution of regulatory filings before the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT), including transmission and generation certification proceedings, base rate and rider proceedings, compliance reporting, and rulemaking proceedings. The role involves performing research, compiling and analyzing data, supporting the creation and tracking of the company's business plan, and helping devise regulatory and legislative strategy. The analyst will monitor utility issues across federal, state, and local governments, support stakeholder engagement campaigns, and advocate for company or industry initiatives before the PUCT and Texas Legislature as needed.
