About The Position

The Regulatory Affairs Intern position is a 10-week internship designed for undergraduate and graduate-level students majoring in Neuroscience, Biochemistry, or related medical sciences. The role focuses on supporting specialized short-term projects within the Late-Stage Respiratory & Immunology (LRI) division, contributing to key business initiatives and regulatory strategies.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Neuroscience, Biochemistry, or a related medical sciences field.
  • Expected graduation date after August 2025.
  • Medical sciences background or exposure.
  • Demonstrated understanding of regulatory affairs.
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
  • US Work Authorization required at the time of application.
  • Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD 4-5 days a week.
  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a short term project that supports LRI Key business area, such as a white paper on a regulatory topic, process improvement, or execution of a regulatory submission project.
  • Attend daily and weekly regulatory meetings, supporting meeting outputs and actions.
  • Assist the Regulatory Strategy and Innovation Team with 2025 scorecard goals and initiatives.
