The primary purpose of the non-RN Regulatory & Accreditation Program Coordinator-Quality is to establish regulatory presence at the local level for any unannounced and announced regulatory survey activity including but not limited to The Joint Commission, The Department of Health, the Attorney General, The State Board of Pharmacy and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The importance of having a Regulatory & Accreditation Program Coordinator-Quality ensures patients receive a standard of care that meets patient safety quality of safe and effective services. Regulatory & Accreditation Program Coordinator-Quality helps maintain compliance to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Conditions of Performance and legal protection for providers such as adherence to informed consent, two patient identifiers and completion of history and physicals.
