About The Position

Set up, adjust, and operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment to perform high quality, structurally sound welds on both oil tight and non-oil tight parts. Perform welding in various positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, and inside tanks, adapting seamlessly to different welding processes. Execute repair (MIG) weld operations as needed, demonstrating proficiency. Perform mild and stainless-steel cover welding. Operate various types of material handling equipment including bridge cranes, jib cranes, manually operated hand trucks, and Powered industrial vehicles when necessary. Place both weld-on and bolt-on covers to units, giving them a pressure test using air and soap. Diligently inspect both your own work and that of others to ensure it consistently meets quality standards, maintaining a keen eye for detail and precision. Conduct inspection and test procedures meticulously, taking prompt remedial action to correct any nonconformance issues. Maintain accurate production counts and reconcile them with work order requirements. Perform routine upkeep of machines and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
