About The Position

Waste Disposal Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Packages expired chemicals for shipment or disposal. Empties satellite containers into bulk containers and takes back to laboratory for reuse. Mains chemical storage area to keep it clutter-free and free of fire hazards. Ships hazardous waste from the laboratory prior to the RCRA time limit for the facility. Tracks volume of waste generated for reporting to corporate and EPA. Prepares and tracks implementation of Waste Minimization Plan. Orders and maintains chemical inventory for the laboratory. Manages consignment room to keep all laboratory areas supplied. Provides assistance to other departments/areas as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
