About The Position

This is a Regular Student Tutor position which will provide in-person academic tutoring to students while maintaining an effective and positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Must be a Philosophy major or minor (preferably major).
• Completion of minimum 9 hours in Philosophy courses with 3.5 GPA in Philosophy courses required.

Responsibilities

• Assist UCO students with Core Requirement courses taught in the department including Introduction to Philosophy, Contemporary Moral Problems, Logic & Critical Thinking, and Social & Political Philosophy.
• Attend some classes for the courses they tutor and introduce themselves.
• Attend regular meetings with faculty tutor supervisor.
