We are seeking a highly motivated Registration Supervisor to join our Registration department. This job can be performed 100% remotely, and out of state candidates will be considered. The Registration Department within CU Medicine plays a critical role in ensuring positive patient experience and accurate financial processing. The Registration Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and operational support to the department. This role ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of all registration-related functions, including manual registration/data entry, insurance verification, visit management, management & maintenance of robotic process automation procedures, and first-pass denial management. Additionally, the Supervisor supports staff development, drives workflow improvements, and maintains high-quality standards that contribute to a unified team responsible for clean claim submission and overall organization revenue integrity.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Registration Department, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all registration tasks.
  • Monitor workloads, allocate assignments, and adjust staffing as needed to meet department goals and KPIs metrics.
  • Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and recommend operational improvements.
  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and mentorship to assigned staff.
  • Assess training needs, develop training materials, and deliver ongoing education to enhance staff performance and competency.
  • Support team engagement, accountability, and professional development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new and/or newly promoted staff members.
  • Collaborate with leadership and other revenue cycle teams to support cross-functional problem solving.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for staff questions, complex registration scenarios, and escalated issues.
  • Investigate errors or discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, accuracy, and denial trends.
  • Prepare and present regular reports for management.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a progressively responsible role
  • Must have proven leadership of at least 10 personnel or more
  • Strong PC application skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of current insurance benefit plans and payers
