About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Registration Specialist to join our team in Carmel, IN. This role ensures smooth patient flow, accurate records, and excellent service throughout the patient experience. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:30 PM (Onsite)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to learn and apply medical coding (ICD-10, CPT) preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance processes and medical terminology is a plus.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Greet and check patients in and out efficiently.
• Verify insurance information and update patient records.
• Create and maintain patient charts.
• Collect co-payments and process payments accurately.
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients and visitors.
• Perform office closing procedures and prepare for the next day.
