About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Registration Representative to join our Revenue Cycle Team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing financial clearance, registration, and other clerical duties. This is an onsite position that works Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Minimum 1 year of patient registration, scheduling, or clerical customer service experience in a medical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with intake department, clinical staff, and other appropriate personnel to exchange necessary information.
  • Verifying insurance benefits and obtaining precertification/authorization while ensuring verification of medical necessity as necessary in addition to determining and accepting required payments, including co-pays deductibles, and coinsurance, or referring customer to financial counselors for follow up.
  • Ensuring that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered in the registration system with accuracy.
  • Scheduling patients for upcoming set ups and CPAP mask refits as needed.
  • Meeting (in person or virtually) with patient or patient's caregiver to exchange necessary information and documentation in addition to providing clear explanation of processes and addresses concerns and questions.
