Position Summary The role of the Registration/Checkout Clerk reports to the Clinic Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the activities of the front office.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a clerical support role, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, patients, guests, and coworkers in a positive and professional manner
- Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, clinic staff, and providers
- Perform office and administrative duties in an effective and efficient manner
- Schedule appointments
- Register patients
- Collect co-payments and deductibles
- Verify insurance eligibility
