About The Position

The Registrar at Conejo Valley Unified School District is responsible for managing student records, including enrollment, transfers, and withdrawals. This role involves evaluating student transcripts, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with district policies and regulations. The Registrar will also assist students, parents, and staff with inquiries related to student records and graduation processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience performing clerical/secretarial duties, including data/record management.
• Experience managing student records is desirable.
• Valid California Class C Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of principles and methods of records maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform student enrollment and withdrawal functions using an automated student information system.
• Request, receive, evaluate, and interpret incoming student transcripts.
• Audit hours or credits earned for comparable courses and input information into the student information system.
• Prepare accurate lists of graduates' names for commencement programs and order diplomas for graduation.
• Respond to inquiries regarding student records, transcript requests, and enrollment procedures.
• Organize the storage of cumulative files for all students and send permanent records to district archives.
• Prepare and maintain a variety of records and reports, including State and District reports.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
