About The Position

Job Summary: The Registrar Services Specialist is responsible for assisting students in all phases of their academic program completion by providing assistance with the Registrar's Office services.

Requirements

  • Must have strong customer service perspective and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and be detail-oriented for data entry and registration.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 or related software.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment.
  • Must be able to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems when implemented.
  • Must have a positive, problem-solving personality and be willing to research answers to complex questions.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree
  • A two-year commitment is requested
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with student records and registrar processes is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary person at front desk, answering phones, answering and distributing incoming emails, and assisting visitors
  • Maintain and update student records
  • Assist with all registration processes
  • Provide graduation support and assist with commencement activities
  • Follow FERPA policies in all communication
  • Other duties as assigned
