Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified candidates for the Registrar Office Assistant (Part-Time) position in the Registrar's Office in the Enrollment Services Division. This position is located at ATC's Main Campus, which is just South of Downtown Atlanta. The Registrar Office Assistant (Part-Time) provides administrative and clerical support within the Division of Enrollment Services, assisting with daily operations across multiple functional areas including admissions, registration, records, and transcript processing. This position plays an important role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of student record management and customer service delivery. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality while performing a variety of office-related tasks in support of the Registrar's Office and Enrollment Services team. This is a part-time position, up to twenty-nine (29) hours per week.

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Registrar's Office and other Enrollment Services units, including filing, scanning, copying, data entry, and document processing.
  • Greet and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors in person, by phone, and via email in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain student records and documentation in accordance with institutional policies and FERPA regulations.
  • Process incoming transcripts and related documents; assist with preliminary evaluation of transfer credit under staff supervision.
  • Enter student and transcript information accurately into the BANNER student information system.
  • Support registration and records functions, including form processing, enrollment verification, and document maintenance.
  • Assist with preparing reports, maintaining tracking logs, and ensuring records are properly organized and stored.
  • Collaborate with Enrollment Services staff to support registration, admissions, and records management functions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the mission and daily operations of the Division of Enrollment Services.
  • Must possess and demonstrate a High School Diploma or equivalent AND one (1) year of related work experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as business correspondence, operating, policy and procedures manuals.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematic functions.
  • Skill in the operation of computers and job-related software programs.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public.
  • Associates degree AND one (1) or more years of related work experience.
  • Six (6) or more months Ellucian BANNER Experience.
  • Experience working in a higher education setting or with transcript evaluation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of academic policies, transfer credit processes, and accreditation systems is desirable.
  • Familiarity with BANNER student information system or similar platforms preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • May be required to work at other locations and other locations within the community.
