About The Position

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with a diverse population.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various responsibilities effectively.
  • General computer skills and proficiency in Office 365.
  • Adept at learning various software applications and working with database systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage student and faculty information in the School Information System (Powerschool) ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process class transfers and advise staff and faculty as appropriate.
  • Finalize student schedules after master scheduling is complete.
  • Prepare Powerschool for enrollment and scheduling processes.
  • Manage Powerschool processes and reports, including start and end of year changes.
  • Prepare and distribute report cards and update the Powerschool calendar.
  • Gather and update faculty and staff information in Powerschool.
  • Manage access to Powerschool, including assigning usernames and passwords to new parents.
  • Enter new student data and test scores into Naviance.
  • Create reports as needed from Powerschool.
  • Manage student and faculty information in Magnus Health software application.
  • Work with the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director to collect necessary health-related information from families.
  • Support school activities across various areas, including enrollment and registration processes.
  • Assist with the publication of course catalogs and graduation programs.
  • Maintain student transcripts and send as requested.
  • Ensure emergency backpacks have updated class rosters.
  • Assign students to Houses and Mentor Groups as directed.
  • Prepare awards for academic honors and family communications as directed.
  • Act as back-up for the Administrative Assistant and complete other duties as needed.
