About The Position
The Acute Care Hospital Registrar 1 position at Corewell Health is a part-time role that supports the Emergency Center in Lenox. The position requires working 3-4 shifts per week during the midnight shift from 10:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., with a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend and holiday. The role involves ensuring a smooth and timely registration/admission process by obtaining accurate demographic, clinical, and insurance data, collecting co-pays and deductibles, and performing initial financial screenings for self-pay and out-of-network patients. The position also emphasizes customer satisfaction and requires a mandatory orientation during the first week from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
