Who We're Looking For: We are looking to hire a Part-Time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays, understanding the importance of client education, and help lead a positive and motivating team. Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Technician, license must be current
- 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Ability to monitor and chart vital signs during anesthetic procedures
- Ability to place I.V. catheters
- Experience handling and administering medications
- Proficiency in venipuncture
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Sense of enthusiasm
- Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passion for serving others
- Strong work ethic/ self-driven
