About The Position
NIVES is hiring an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency team on 3rd shift. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and want to work alongside a highly skilled, supportive team, this is an opportunity to make a real impact in a leading emergency and specialty hospital.
Requirements
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (or ability to transfer license)
- 2+ years of experience, ER preferred
- Strong technical and critical thinking skills
- Calm, efficient, and team-oriented under pressure
Responsibilities
- Support emergency exams, procedures, and critical care cases
- Monitor anesthesia (ECG, SpO₂, EtCO₂, NIBP)
- Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care
- Collect and process lab samples
- Maintain accurate medical records in EzyVet
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members
