Requirements

Associate's Degree in Allied Health
Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
RVT designation from ARDMS and/or RVS from CCI
Highly developed understanding of vascular anatomy and hemodynamics
1-2 years’ Clinical Allied Health experience in a related field

Responsibilities

Participate in Quality Improvement activities, research studies, ICAVL accreditation process, and act as clinical educator/resource person as needed
Maintains appropriate communications with other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
Demonstrate professional growth through credentialing, CEU activities and staff meeting attendance.
Demonstrates clinical competency in performing non-invasive vascular testing.
Accurately manages manual/electronic records, charges, logs, and all pertinent data.
