The Registered Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures to image normal and abnormal structures of the human body while providing high-quality, patient-centered care across all age groups. This role assesses patients before, during, and after procedures in accordance with departmental guidelines and maintains a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and patient comfort. The Registered Sonographer operates highly specialized ultrasound and imaging equipment, supports a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families, and participates in the training and education of students and staff.
