Up to $30,000 Sign-on Bonus for new hires and Relocation Assistance up to $7,000 available. Monday - Friday 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. with rotating call, weekends, and holidays. Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Graduate of approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.
ARRT registry/ARDMS in one of the following areas: OB/Gyn, Abd or Neurosonography.
CPR certification required.
Interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments.

Nice To Haves

Vascular ultrasound experience preferred but not required.
RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) in Vascular Sonography.
ARDMS or CCI.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate proficiency with skills and knowledge to perform noninvasive vascular ultrasound examinations, assess technical data and provide preliminary results, and assist in the interpretation of exams
Assess patients for procedures ordered prior to, during, and after treatment according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines.
Operate highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System).
Trains students and staff as assigned.
Creates a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
Assesses data reflective of the patient status.
Interprets information needed to identify each patients requirement and/or specific needs, and provides care per applicable policy and procedures.
Interacts with patients, families, visitors and all members of the healthcare team to develop, coordinate and manage the plan of care.
