About The Position

The Registered Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the direction of the Director of Medical Imaging. This role is integral to the Medical Imaging Service team, assisting physicians with interventional procedures and biopsies using sonographic guidance, while also managing additional duties as required.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Sonography Training Program.
  • Eligible to be registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Abdominal and Pelvic Imaging.
  • ARDMS certification required.
  • AHA BLS certification required.
  • Certified in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine preferred.
  • Registered in Vascular Sonography preferred.
  • Minimum of six (6) months post-graduate and registry experience in a hospital-based Ultrasound Department preferred.

  • Competitive salary range of $71.18 - $89.77 per hour plus applicable shift differential.
