About The Position

Requirements

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.
• Experience: General Abdomen and OB/GYN experience preferred.
• Licensure, certification, and/or registration: ARRT registry/ARDMS in one of the following areas, OB/Gyn, Abd or Neurosonography. CPR certification required.
• Other: Good interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients appropriately for the procedures ordered prior to, during, and after treatment according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines.
• Operate highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System).
• Take part in the training of students and staff as assigned.
• Create a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
