Requirements

Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy (CoARC-accredited program)
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Active West Virginia Respiratory Care license
Current CPR or BLS certification
Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
6+ months direct patient care experience
6+ months cardiopulmonary experience

Responsibilities

Perform Comprehensive Sleep Studies
Conduct routine and advanced polysomnographic testing (MSLT, MWT, parasomnia studies, PAP & oxygen titration)
Monitor patient safety throughout procedures
Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events using AASM standards
Generate detailed, accurate reports for physician interpretation
Deliver Outstanding Patient Care
Educate patients on in-lab and home sleep apnea testing
Provide age-appropriate care for adult and geriatric populations
Implement therapeutic interventions including PAP and oxygen therapy
Ensure patient comfort, safety, and compliance with protocols
Maintain Excellence in Operations
Perform equipment calibration, cleaning, and maintenance
Participate in quality assurance initiatives
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and safety standards
Assist leadership in optimizing sleep center operations
