Can perform all duties defined for a Polysomnographic Technician along with scoring of sleep studies and can assist with supervision of other staff. JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES Education: High School Graduate. Graduate of an accredited school of polysomnography preferred. Associate/Bachelor degree preferred. Licensure: Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) or a current Indiana state license in respiratory therapy (RT). Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification. Experience: Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one (1) year duration associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility OR equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician. Confidently performed polysomnography on pediatrics (ages 4 years and up), adolescents, adults and geriatrics preferred.
