The OR RN is responsible for a variety of duties related to REI procedures, including patient admission, intra-operative and post-operative care, and anesthesia coordination. Key responsibilities -Verifying patient vital signs, preparing medications, assisting during procedures such as retrievals and D&C, and monitoring patients post-procedure to ensure stability. -Collaborates with anesthesia providers for patient assessments, manages anesthesia consults, and ensures all necessary consents and documentation are completed. -Prepares for upcoming procedures, handles GYN patient care in the PACU, and coordinates pre-operative phone calls for conscious sedation procedures. -Performs conscious sedation procedures, ensuring proper monitoring and medication administration. -Ensures patient messages are addressed and lab orders are linked for upcoming appointments. Job Summary Summary Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients. Yes Essential Functions -Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records. -Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects. -Record patients' medical information and vital signs. -Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. -Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. -Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
