Requirements
- Associate degree in respiratory therapy required; completion of AARC approved RRT program
- Minimum of two years in the medical field. Previous experience preferred.
- Registered in the State of Kansas as a Respiratory Therapist, licensed as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist.
- CPR certification required.
- ACLS required.

Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders
- Provide expertise in cardiovascular and pulmonary specialty areas in the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab Department
- Supervise exercise sessions and provide outpatient education
- Integrate roles as a clinician, teacher, consultant, and researcher across both departments
- Deliver life support and respiratory care for patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities
- Work under the supervision and prescription of a physician or mid-level provider to ensure exceptional patient care
