How you’ll make an impact in this role Lead the development of specialized respiratory care plans, utilizing your clinical expertise to tailor treatment frequency and intensity to each patient’s unique diagnosis. Manage advanced respiratory modalities and life-sustaining equipment, maintaining a vigilant eye on patient stability to ensure the highest standards of safety and intervention. Advocate for patient recovery by documenting care journeys with precision and communicating real-time condition changes to the Wichita-based multidisciplinary team. Educate patients and Kansas families on respiratory health and local support networks, empowering them to manage their conditions with confidence after discharge. Respond as a critical member of the emergency resuscitation team, providing calm, expert leadership and life-saving care during high-pressure "code" situations. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

  • Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
