About The Position

A 221-bed, Level II Trauma Center serving Central Florida is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift opportunity. The RRT will deliver high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care, including diagnostic testing, therapeutic interventions, and management of invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation. This role plays a critical part in emergency response and advanced airway management, including resuscitation support.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of recent acute care experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Active NBRC credentialing and state licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Associate Degree from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program
• BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (within 6 months of hire)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and maintain accurate documentation
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy
• Manage invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation
• Provide emergency airway management and resuscitation support
• Assist with transport of ventilator-dependent patients throughout the facility
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams

Benefits

• Hourly Pay Range: $28 – $40 (based on experience)
• Night Shift Differential: $4.50/hour
• Weekend Differential: $3.00/hour
• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
