About The Position

Per Diem Respiratory Therapist for the Freehold Ambulatory office. The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the ambulatory practices functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The RRT may be cross-trained in both pulmonary function testing and CPAP services.   Monday - Friday: 9am-5pm Freehold and Manalapan rotation.  Ambulatory office only to perform Pulmonary Function Test. Requirements

  • Knowledge regarding homecare services and third-party reimbursement
  • Excellent communication, documentation, customer service, organizational, prioritizing, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

  • To provide respiratory care to patients as ordered by physician, according to established standards and practices
  • Assess patient health problems and needs
  • Develop and implement care plans
  • Maintain medical records
  • Administer care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients
  • CPAP/VPAP set ups in the patient home or office
