About The Position

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a permanent opportunity in Kissimmee, Florida. In this role, the Registered Respiratory Therapist provides comprehensive respiratory care services to patients of all ages in an acute care environment. The RRT performs routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures, supports ventilator-dependent patients, and functions with a high level of independence while maintaining collaboration with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of acute care ventilators for both short- and long-term mechanical ventilation. This position requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to remain self-directed during shifts when leadership is not immediately present. Employment Details: This is a permanent, full-time position. Day and night shifts are available. Rotating weekends are required. Compensation: Hourly compensation is based on years of experience and includes shift differentials, sign-on bonus eligibility, and relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience
Completion of an AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate Degree required)
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Florida Respiratory Therapist license preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong critical thinking, patient care, and clinical documentation skills
