Under general supervision, provide respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities.

Requirements

• Graduate of a post-secondary respiratory education program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the State of Georgia
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the State of Georgia

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) preferred
• One (1) year of formal training/intern experience preferred
