About The Position

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Ocala, Florida. This is a high-priority opportunity within a progressive, financially stable hospital system for respiratory therapists seeking strong compensation, acute care exposure, and a supportive clinical environment. POSITION OVERVIEW The Registered Respiratory Therapist performs respiratory care procedures across a wide range of patient populations. This role includes administering routine and advanced respiratory therapy, ventilator management, and maintaining accurate documentation while collaborating with the broader care team.

Requirements

Completion of an AMA-approved respiratory care program required
Associate Degree required
Florida license preferred or willingness to obtain required
1+ year of recent acute care RRT experience strongly preferred
Ability to work days or nights with rotating weekends
Strong respiratory care knowledge, documentation skills, and team collaboration required

CRT experience considered

Responsibilities

Perform respiratory care related duties across assigned patient populations
Administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures
Operate acute care ventilators for short and long-term mechanical ventilation
Maintain department and hospital documentation accurately
Work independently and collaboratively within the care team
Support patient safety and quality outcomes through timely respiratory interventions
