About The Position

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides respiratory care services in a small community hospital setting. The therapist is responsible for managing patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions and delivering both emergency and critical respiratory interventions. The department primarily treats patients with emphysema, asthma, and other respiratory disease processes. Non-invasive ventilation and high-flow oxygen therapies are commonly utilized. Patients requiring invasive ventilation are stabilized and transferred to a higher-level facility.

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
  • Active State License
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
