About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support a high-acuity acute care setting in Holmdel, NJ. This role involves delivering advanced cardiopulmonary care, managing life-support equipment, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience (ventilator management and ABGs required)
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Active and unrestricted New Jersey Respiratory Care License
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS
• Ability to commit fully to assigned schedule
• Availability to work every other weekend and required holidays
• On-call rotation required (minimum once per week)
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 5 lbs

Responsibilities

• Perform ventilator setup, monitoring, and advanced management for critically ill patients
• Assist with emergency airway management, including intubations and artificial airway care
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis
• Administer prescribed respiratory therapies, including aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and oxygen therapy
• Assess patient conditions, analyze clinical data, and adjust care plans accordingly
• Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory conditions and equipment use
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
