About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: Assesses, administers, monitors and provides therapy and
objective measurement for respiratory care procedures.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a CoARC accredited respiratory care program for registered respiratory therapists.
• Possesses and provides an active New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license and is in “good standing” with all regulatory agencies.
• The practitioner may not be eligible for employment or continued employment if there are restrictions or disciplinary proceedings pending.
• Provides documentation of the NBRC’s RRT credential.
• Possesses and provides proof of the minimum certification of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association.
• Manual dexterity to provide respiratory therapy and operate equipment.
• The employee is responsible for maintaining all licenses and certifications throughout the duration of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Additional ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications are preferred.
• Experience in all age-specific competency groups preferred.
