About The Position

A healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for weekend night shifts . This role focuses on providing high-quality respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions while working collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Active New Jersey RRT license
• Active NJ Respiratory Care License
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• PALS
• Strong adaptability, accountability, teamwork, and patient-centered approach
• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 5 lbs
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 1 hour per day

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services under medical direction
• Manage and monitor ventilators and other respiratory support equipment
• Assist with intubations and emergency airway management
• Perform patient assessments and adjust respiratory care plans as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory conditions and treatments
• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Perform additional duties as assigned
