Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited respiratory care program.
• Licensed practitioner by the State of New Jersey.
• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or (STABLE) must be completed within 3 months of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years’ experience.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or (STABLE).

Responsibilities

• The Respiratory Therapist provides patient care to those suffering from acute and chronic respiratory problems.
• Job duties and responsibilities are related to General Therapy, Critical Care, Education, Infection Control, and other duties as assigned by department leadership.
