Position Summary: Performs the primary functions of a Registered Respiratory Therapist in assessing, planning, implementing, educating, and evaluating a designated group of patients in accordance with established Respiratory Care Standards, Hospital and Departmental Policies. Responsible for managing all assigned supplies and equipment on the unit. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values. Short Term Program Requirements · All short-term employees are required to work a minimum of 72 Hours per pay period during the timeframe · All short-term employees are required to work every 3rd weekend during the timeframe

Requirements

  • Education: Associate of Science Degree or higher
  • Experience: 1 Year of previous Respiratory Therapy experience
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Missouri
  • Registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care
  • All short-term employees are required to work a minimum of 72 Hours per pay period during the timeframe
  • All short-term employees are required to work every 3rd weekend during the timeframe
