About The Position

Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license (or eligible)
- Associate degree, vocational training, or certificate in respiratory therapy
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
Nice To Haves
- Prior hospital or acute care respiratory therapy experience
- Experience with ventilator management and critical care patients
Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory assessments including breath sounds, airway evaluation, and clinical status monitoring
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and airway clearance treatments
- Manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation, including setup, monitoring, and adjustments
- Assist with intubations and artificial airway management
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and rapid clinical changes
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and therapies
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support treatment plans
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure safety and readiness
- Support neonatal and critical care needs as required
